About Piperi| Mediterranean Grill 

International Chef, Thomas John nails from India's southern coastal state of Kerala.  Thomas’s was raised on the family spice farm where meals made with fresh ingredients were part of everyday life. Throughout his career as a professional chef, Thomas has used those flavors and invigoratingly fresh ingredients with passion and creativity. 

Chef Thomas has been part of the “Worlds of Healthy Flavors” conference, an initiative of the Culinary Institute of America and Dr. Walter Willet’s team at the Harvard School of Public Health to make a wider range of healthy menu choices available in American restaurants. Thomas also worked closely with Dr. Michael Roizen, Chief Wellness Officer at Cleveland Clinic, to bring an Au Bon Pain restaurant to the Clinic’s Heart Center.

Chef Thomas and partner, Tim Oliveri, former CFO at Au Bon Pain, have created Piperi to make wholesome, healthy, tasty food made from fresh ingredients available in a convenient way.
